At LifeChangers Academy, all children are respected as individuals, and we value their feelings and thoughts.
We believe choice gives children the opportunity to develop their identity, expand their creativity, and become independent.

LifeChangers Academy is a faith-based multi-center program for children and families, which has been a staple in Omaha since May 2003. Our team is led by three generations of Early Childhood Educators, with proven academic results and strong roots in the community.
We have a whole-child approach of mind, body, and spirit; and are committed to our vision to lead in quality childcare, to change negative community perceptions, and to shape future generations!

We were welcomed with warm smiles, encouraging words, and support with not knowing anyone in a whole new state.
My sons are now 16 (twins) and 18 and they still speak of their time as children attending and as young teenagers being helpers for the younger classes.
Not only do I remember the boys’ smiles, but also the smiles of the teachers they had or the staff that interacted with them (whether for the class they were in, a field trip, or helping out) when they would stop me and share their positive or special moment with my sons.

LifeChangers has shown our family many things over the years, most importantly they have shown our family and my children consistency.
My oldest son has behavioral concerns including ADHD. At a very young age he was asked to leave a local private school due to this diagnosis. When my son had no appropriate options during this transition, Life Changers was there to help us. They went above and beyond working with my son on school age programs while I completed the long transitional process of getting him enrolled in a school that could accommodate his needs. Without this assistance my son would have really struggled academically and so would my family have financially as I would have not had the option to work. During this transition my son was able to start kindergarten at a younger age than his other peers and excel academically. He did not and has not struggled in school and has been able to contribute that success to his educational start at LifeChangers Academy.
We are forever grateful as a family for the love and care that has been shown towards my children and myself during our time at Life Changers.

Thank you to LifeChangers Academy for really being life changers.
My sweet Teddy was only 9 months old when I had to transition him from grandma’s to a childcare center. I was anxious, scared and unsure who to trust my child with.
Many women made our 4 years at Life Changers amazing. I can’t recall all the names at this point but in the end Ms. Shanita (Shalita as Teddy said) was by far the most impactful on his small life. She met teddy when he was just a toddler but there was something about her that he loved. He was her little man. She always knew how to get him calm. She loved him like he was hers. He clung to her at moments perhaps when she needed to do other things, but he was never a bother to her. She was good to so many of the kids. More so than I had ever anticipated from a childcare setting, and I am grateful. The time she had with Teddy was so impactful on his life. The trust he must have felt with her cannot compare.

God is good. I know this because he sent us Life Changers Academy.
Life changers has been in my family for over 10+ years. We have four children that attend Life Changers Academy and before that our little sisters attended. Our oldest is seven and our youngest is 6 months. They haven’t stepped foot in another daycare from 6 weeks to the age they’re now. Our kids have been and will have been apart of EVERY classroom inside the facility. The staff at Life changers are nothing short of our family. We love and appreciate them! My husband and I know each and every day that our babies are in good hands! They’re being taught right from wrong, they’re learning to be God fearing, they’re growing and blossoming but most importantly our children are LOVED here. Were blessed to be apart of Life Changers Academy. We appreciate each and everyone of you.
